In markets twist ties are available in different colors as the outer covering may be of different colors. Twist ties can be used for different types of applications and one can use these to anything he want to tie. I personally use twist ties to bind little and light cables such as for the cords of cell phone charger to minimized the unwanted length of that wire. The plastic and metallic paper twist ties stand against water and prevent anything from leakage. I use twist ties to keep my home made cookies fresh in a plastic bag as I have to keep cookies fresh because my children love to have cookies while watching television.
