Cable Ties have Gone Through Many Changes

Cable Ties were first introduced in the year 1958 by an electrical company named Thomas & Betts. These invented for aero plane harnesses, and were initially introduced under the brand name Ty-Rap. The only difference at the commencement of Cable Ties was the ratchet which was not made of nylon but it was made of metal instead. In the beginning Cable Ties bear a steel pawl attached and for this reason the manufacturing process was time consuming and comparatively less efficient. As time passed on Cable Ties had gone through many changes and these are commonly available in market with different strength sizes and colors.
